Willow Bay Naturals was born out of a caring for the environment and about what we are putting in and on our bodies. Our skin is our largest organ and what goes on it does go into our body. I have eczema and dry, sensitive skin. Several years ago a bar of handmade soap was given to me and once I tried it I just fell in love. It felt so moisturizing, nothing like the store bought bars of soap I used to use before the days of body wash. Once body wash became popular I tried brand after “sensitive skin formula” brand, and still my skin was left dry and irritated. Once I did more research on this “old fashioned” handmade soap, I just knew it was something I wanted to get into.
 
I started Willow Bay Naturals 2009 in hopes I could spread the word about handmade natural beauty products. Many people don’t even know they still exist, or can't imagine WHY anyone would still use those old fashioned bars of soap.  My mission is to educate people that "new & improved" isn't always better. However, even handmade soap is much improved over what our grandparents used. It is now made with the most luxurious oils, and finest fragrance and essential oils. Plus, there are the lotions, so rich and creamy, scented with fragrances you will never find on the shelf at a big box store. Our line of all natural soy candles are made with soybeans grown by Midwest farmers. All our products are hand crafted in small batches using unique recipes.
 
Once I started to make my own handmade soaps and lotions I was hooked. I love being able to customize products to exactly how I want them. If you have any requests for a certain scent or type of product just let me know.  

All of our products are handcrafted in small batches in Grand Rapids, MI sourcing our ingredients and packaging from US sources whenever possible.

 

Willow Bay Naturals Mission is to provide high quality, hand crafted skin care products to everyone. We hope to educate people about the health and environmental benefits of using natural skin care products and soy candles. We hope to inspire everyone to treat themselves to skin care products that are great for your skin, good for the planet, and hopefully put a little smile on your face while you're using them.
